镇墓兽原型及其内涵辨析

Discrimination of Prototypes and Connotations of Tomb-guarding Animals

镇墓兽是中国古代墓葬中一类较为特殊的物品,对其原型及内涵,学界多有探讨。文章以考古发掘的镇墓兽材料为依据,通过对文献记载进行分析,深入探讨镇墓兽原型及其变化,并对其与内涵做进一步阐释,认为对镇墓兽原型及其内涵进行分析,当依其造型、埋葬位置等的不同而有所差异。

In the academic circles,many discussions have been done on the prototypes and connotations of tomb-guarding animals,which are special funeral objects in ancient Chinese tombs.Based on excavated tomb guards,along with literature data,this paper studies further the prototypes and diachronical changes of them and explain their connotations and the reasons.We hold the view point that the anylysis on the prototype and connotation should vary depending on the different modellings and burial locations.
