Space Development Strategy on Enhancing Vitality of New Urban Street——Taking Vanke Emerald Park in Nantong as an Example

伴随着城市化的推进,越来越多的新城区开始涌现并取得了蓬勃发展。与此同时,由于缺少历史的沉淀,许多新城区并没有给居民带来归属感,尤其是那些如棋盘般阵列交错的城市街道,只发挥了解决城市交通的功能,而忽视了居民的情感体验。街道是居民感受城市魅力的主要场所,一旦居民失去了对街道的热情,那么新城区只能沦落为谋生之地而非安生之所。文章从场地亲和性、建筑包容性、装饰艺术性三方面,探索提升街道活力的空间营造策略,并以南通万科翡翠公园示范区为例,阐释了这三种策略的具体运用。

With the advancement of urbanization, more and more new urban areas have emerged and flourished. At the same time, due to the lack of historical precipitation, many new urban areas have not brought a sense of belonging to the residents, especially those urban streets that are interlaced like a checkerboard, which only play a role in providing urban traffic, while ignoring the emotional experience of residents. The street is the main place where residents feel the charm of the city. Once the residents lose their enthusiasm for street, the new urban areas can only be reduced to a place to earn a living instead of a place to live. From three aspects including site affinity, architectural inclusiveness and decorative art, the article explores the space development strategy for improving the vitality of street. Taking the Nantong Vanke Emerald Park Demonstration Zone as an example, this article illustrates the specific application of these three strategies.
