大学英语教育中“中国文化失语”现状与重构

Present Situation and Reconstruction of Chinese Cultural Aphasia in College English Education

改革开放以来,大学英语教育在取得巨大成就的同时,也出现了"中国文化失语"现象。大量英美文化的单向输入和中国文化的缺失,使得许多英语学习者不能够用英语准确地表述中国文化,在跨文化交际中出现文化失衡现象。通过提高大学英语师生的中国文化意识、知识储备,增加大学英语中教材编写、课程设置、考核评价几方面中国文化元素等策略,重构大学英语中外文化的平衡。

Since the reforming and opening up in China,great achievements have been made in College English teaching.At the same time the aphasia of Chinese culture occurs too.The massive one-way input of British and American culture and the absence of Chinese culture in the cross-cultural communication make many English learners unable to express Chinese culture appropriately in English.This paper aims to reconstruct the balance between Chinese and English culture by taking the following strategies,including enhancing college teachers and students'Chinese cultural awareness,enriching their knowledge about Chinese culture,adding more Chinese cultural elements in textbook compilation,examination and evaluation,etc.
