摘要
骨关节炎(OA)是目前世界范围内最常见的关节炎表现形式之一,是一种能够引起疼痛和不适的慢性疾病。大量的研究致力于其病理生理学的理解和治疗方法的应用。动物模型在研究过程中起着重要的作用。成像模式在理解OA的发病机制以及与疼痛之间的关系方面起着关键的作用。成像研究也可以使疾病在体外监测的同时用于动物模型的研究。本文对OA动物模型的组织病理学、成像模式、疼痛的评估方法进行总结。
Osteoarthritis(OA) is one of the most commonly occurring forms of arthritis in the world. It is a debilitating chronic illness causing pain and immense discomfort to the affected individual. Researches are currently ongoing to understand its pathophysiology and develop successful treatment regimens. Imaging modalities play a pivotal role in understanding the pathogenesis of OA and the correlation with pain. Imaging studies can allow in vitro surveillance of the disease in the animal models. This review summarizes the histopathology, imaging modalities and pain assessment techniques in the animals.
