On Reform Strategies of English Translation Teaching against the Background of the Belt and Road Initiative

"一带一路"倡议是构建人类命运共同体的伟大探索与实践。随着"一带一路"倡议的深入实践,作为英语翻译人才培养基地的高校既面临重大机遇更是严峻挑战。通过分析"一带一路"促进人类命运共同体建设与英语翻译人才培养的关系,阐述高校面向"一带一路"英语翻译人才培养存在的弊端,提出在"一带一路"倡议背景下英语翻译课程教学的改革策略,以期进一步加快英语翻译教学的转型,更好地适应中国文化"走出去"的需求。

The Belt and Road Initiative(B&R)is a great exploration and practice in constructing a community with a shared future for mankind.With the furthering practice of the B&R,China's higher educational institutions,the base of training English talents,are facing more challenges as well as opportunities.Through the analysis of the relationship between the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind and the training of translation talents,the paper expounds the status quo of translation teaching in some colleges and universities and proposes some reform strategies.It is hoped that as the reform of translation teaching accelerates,the"going out"strategy of Chinese culture can be better implemented.
