Wang Yucheng,a poet and prose writer in Song dynasty,created prose articles with rich content and various stylistic forms.His zengxu articles,which were written when saying farewell to friends and then collected later in a book,were included in The Complete Works of Song Dynasty with about 30 essays.This was quite a lot in terms of number.Wang Yucheng was born in a poor family,and went through ups and downs in official careers,all these experiences were reflected in his Zengxu articles and also enriched them.He was once an official in national archives,and carried out vigorous reform there.His title and identity provided much richer topics for his creation of zengxu articles,which also represented unique artistic style for this reason.
