祥瑞致祸:《宋书·符瑞志》刘义恭五献嘉禾考

Auspicious Omens Leading to Calamities: Study on the Five Records of Presenting Jiahe from Liu Yigong in the Song Shu Furui Zhi

嘉禾是中国古代最为典型的祥瑞之一。由于其具备"天下一统"的象征意义,历来为统治者所重视。本文通过分析《宋书·符瑞志》中刘义恭五次进献嘉禾的记录,发现进献嘉禾祥瑞的时机往往受皇权与其他政治力量博弈的影响。在复杂的政治局势变动中,即使嘉禾的祥瑞意涵没有发生转变,却依然会给进献者带来不同结果。

Jiahe was one of the most typical auspicious omens in ancient China.Due to its symbolic meaning of national unity,Jiahe had always been paid much more attention by the governors.Through the analysis of the five records of presenting Jiahe from Liu Yigong in the Song Shu Furui Zhi,this paper found that the collisions between the expansion of imperial authority and the other political power had tremendous effects on the opportunity of presenting Jiahe.Even though the auspicious meaning of Jiahe did not change,it also could lead to disastrous consequences when faced with the significant changes of political situation.
