Sino-Vietnamese Economic and Trade Cooperation under the Background of “The Belt and Road”: Advantages,Challenges and Countermeasures

中国和越南海陆衔接,经贸合作历史悠久,近十几年来贸易往来日益频繁。越南是中国"21世纪海上丝绸之路"上的重要节点,中越开展经贸合作拥有地理、经济、政治及文化等多方面优势,但也面临很多挑战,如公共政策合作程度低、贸易不平衡及南海问题等。中越双方要共同努力,抓住"一带一路"这个机遇,增强战略互信,重视战略对接,妥善处理南海问题,构建"中越命运共同体",促进中越经贸合作健康长远发展。

China and Vietnam are connected by land and sea.Economic and trade cooperation has a long history.Trade exchanges have become increasingly frequent in recent decades.Vietnam is an important node in China's Maritime Silk Road in the 21st Century.Sino-Vietnamese economic and trade cooperation have many advantages in geography,economy,politics and culture,but also face many challenges,such as low degree of public policy cooperation,trade imbalance and the South China Sea issue.China and Vietnam need to work together to seize the opportunity of“The Belt and Road”,enhance strategic mutual trust,attach importance to strategic docking,improve supporting facilities,properly handle the South China Sea issue,and build"Sino-Vietnamese destiny community"to promote healthy and long-term development of Sino-Vietnamese economic and trade cooperation.
