The Adaptability,Unique Value and Development Path of Deliberative Democracy with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era

为了有效应对选举民主中排斥普通公民参与公共决策及精英政治趋势的不足,"协商民主"概念应运而生。但是,从西方政治运行轨迹来看,协商民主实践并没有对选举民主的弊端改观多少。比较而言,就中国政治形态来说,协商民主以其强大的实践能力、适应能力进入中国政治实践结构之中,不仅弥补了选举民主的不足,还凸显了中国特色社会主义民主政治的特有形式和独特价值,是中国特色社会主义政治制度的重要组成部分。

In order to effectively deal with the lack of ordinary citizens’participation in public decision-making and elite political trends in electoral democracy,the concept of“deliberative democracy”came into being.However,judging from the trajectory of Western political operation,the practice of deliberative democracy has not changed much about the drawbacks of electoral democracy.Comparatively speaking,in terms of Chinese political form,deliberative democracy has entered China’s political practice structure with its strong practical ability and adaptability,which not only compensates for the lack of electoral democracy,but also highlights the unique form of socialist democratic politics with Chinese characteristics.And unique value is an important part of the socialist political system with Chinese characteristics.
