Nowadays, the application of firewall technology is the main measure of computer network security protection in our country, and it can further improve the operational security of modern computer networks. This paper analyzes the practical role of firewall technology in computer network security based on the application of computer network protection, and formulates effective application strategies of firewall technology, hoping to provide reference for the application of firewall technology in computer network security protection.
