A Study on Differences of Narrative Models between Chinese and Western Novels Based on Language Structure

语言是形成文学作品的符号体系,文学创作和语言结构之间有着紧密的关系,具有显著特色的民族活动及其语言共同铸就了丰富多彩的文学世界。语言对于文学有一定的限制作用,各民族之间的语言具有鲜明的结构特性,文学所呈现的世界是语言体系所规定的人类世界,民族语言结构特性影响文学的呈现方式,从而对中西方小说叙事模式产生影响。

Language is viewed as the symbolic system of forming literary works. There is a close relationship between literary creation and linguistic structure. The ethnic activities with distinctive characteristics and their languages have jointly created a colorful literary world. Meanwhile, language has a certain restrictive effect on literature. The language in different ethnic groups has distinct structural characteristics. The world represented by literature is the human world defined by the language system. The characteristics of national language structure influence the expression way of literary,as well as the narrative model in Chinese and Western novels.
