《弟子规》作为中华传统蒙学教材的精粹,其养成教育思想对我国当前幼儿教育依旧有着深刻的影响和价值。《弟子规》的养成教育目标是培养幼儿成为有着士大夫见识的圣贤弟子,并从孝顺父母,尊敬长辈,严于律己,诚实守信,知识与能力得到全面发展的人等方面展开对幼儿的养成教育。这对我国当前幼儿教育有着重要的借鉴价值:关注幼儿道德品质的塑造,重视幼儿行为规范的实践,注重家庭榜样示范和环境影响以及尊重幼儿身心发展特点,因材施教等。
