Exploration of Business English Ability-building for Students of International Economics & Trade Specialty in Local Colleges

地方高校国际经济与贸易专业作为一个非英语专业,商务英语能力的培养是专业综合能力培养的重要组成部分,本文从目前地方高校该专业商务英语教学存在的问题出发,指出存在着教学安排不合理、双语教学效果差等问题,然后依据对问题的分析,提出了教学统筹安排、运用实践环节、以赛代练、提高师资和提高学习教学热情等的解决建议。

International Economics & Trade is a non-English specialty of local colleges, and business English ability-building is a critical part of comprehensive ability of the specialty. Starting from the current problems in the business English teaching of the specialty, the paper points out unreasonable arrangement of teaching, poor effect of dual-language teaching, etc. Based on the analysis, the paper figures out some solving suggestion like comprehensive arrangement of teaching, using practical training, substitution with contest, faculty improvement and raising enthusiasm of studying, etc.
