Comparative Analysis of RDA Policy Statements between the National Library of China and Germany——Case Study of Recording the Relationships to Agents Associated with Works and Content Expression

Relationship description is an important part of RDA.The article takes recording relationships to agents(person,family and corporate body)associated with works and content expression as an example,analyzes the content,similarities and differences of RDA Policy Statements of the National Library between China and Germany and provides some enlightenment for the cataloging of German-language resources in the aspect of recording relationships to agents associated with works and content expression and with reference to the RDA policy statements and cataloging practices of Germany.
