The price of petrochemical products is one of the most sensitive factors in all aspects of market changes.Based on the correlation between petrochemical products and crude oil prices,petrochemical products and stock price index including the Dow Jones index and the Shanghai Composite Index,it is concluded that the price of petrochemical products has a positive correlation with the price of crude oil,has a certain correlation with the Dow Jones stock index,and has weak correlation with the Shanghai Composite Index.Through these studies,it is expected to make relatively accurate forecasts for the petrochemical market in order to capture the best investment opportunities.
