Geological Characteristics of the Boro Gold Mining area,Magadan Russia

波罗金金矿区是一个找矿前景较好、资源量较大、以往勘查程度较高的金矿区。矿床产于白垩系花岗闪长岩中,矿区构造特征主要以北西向和北东向断裂为主,金矿体多呈网脉状分布于花岗闪长岩岩体中的石英脉中,矿体蚀变主要有绢云母化、绿泥石化及少量电气石化。矿区矿物多而杂,属高-低温岩浆期后热液矿床。

The Boro gold deposit is a gold deposit with good prospecting prospects, large resources and high degree of exploration in the past. The deposit occurs in the Cretaceous granodiorite. The structural characteristics of the mining area are mainly NW and NE faults. The gold ore bodies are mainly distributed in the quartz veins in the granodiorite rock body in the form of network veins. The alterations of the ore bodies are mainly sericitization, chloritization and a small amount of electrification. There are many and complex minerals in the mining area, which belong to the post-magmatic hydrothermal deposit of high-low temperature.
