In the development of cultural tourism,the cultural resources of ancient towns have been gradually transformed into cultural commodities.In this practice,cultural rationality dominates people s protection and inheritance of characteristic ancient town culture as well as cultural transformation and innovation brought by external cultural demands.Economic rationality guides the development of cultural tourism and provides impetus for the inheritance and development of characteristic culture of ancient towns.Finally,economic rationality and cultural rationality jointly promote innovative development of ancient town culture.
