Accelerating voltage at valleys and the optimal condition of argon-filled Franck-Hertz experiment

摘要 给出了弗兰克-赫兹管的导通电压及波谷处加速电压的表达式,并且讨论了灯丝电压、正向电压及减速电压对实验曲线的影响.通过分析实验曲线及数据得出最佳实验参量为:灯丝电压2.8V,正向电压1.6V,减速电压8.0V.在最佳参量下测得氩原子第一亚稳态的激发电位为11.59V. The equations of the break-over voltage and the accelerating voltage at valleys were given, and influences of filament voltage, the forward voltage and the exclude voltage on the curve were also discussed. Through the analysis of the I A- U G 2K curve and other experimental data, optimized parameters of the experiment were determined: the filament voltage 2.8 V, the forward voltage 1.6 V and the exclude voltage 8.0 V. Argon atom’s excitation potential of the first metastable state was determined to be 11.59 V under the optimal experimental condition.
