A Review of the Architectural Design Education of Tong Jun in the Shapingba Era(1937-1946)

通过评析童寯的学院派受教背景,其满族遗民的成长经历,中国本土现代式建筑的实践经验,及其学院派、现代主义取向兼得的施教思想,初步得出结论:"沙坪坝时代"童寯的建筑设计教育,延续了艺术与技术相结合的早期中央大学建筑教育理念,并与同期上海圣约翰大学、清华大学建筑系交相辉映。他们在学院派主导的建筑教育格局中,开拓了属于中国的现代建筑教育先河。

Through the analysis of Tong Jun's academic background,the growth experience of Manchu remnants,the practical experience of Chinese modern architecture,and the teaching ideas of both academic and modernist orientation,we conclude that:The architectural design education of the nursery school of Shapingba era continued the concept of architecture education of the early Central University combining art and technology,and it was complemented by the architecture department of Shanghai St.John's University and Tsinghua University in the same period.In the academic-led architectural education pattern,they pioneered the modern architectural education that belongs to China.
