外国戏剧研究新突破——《新中国外国戏剧的翻译与研究》述评

A New Breakthrough in Studies of Foreign Drama: A Review of Translation and Studies of Foreign Drama in New China

何辉斌教授所著的《新中国外国戏剧的翻译与研究》(2017)是第一本从宏观上反映国内外国戏剧研究成就的著作。该书由十二章构成,通过对新中国成立以来六十二年中(1949-2010年)译介外国戏剧、外国戏剧研究著作和国内学者研究外国戏剧这三个方面的量化统计,探索了这六十多年来外国戏剧在中国的翻译与研究历程。该书将这六十多年分为四个阶段,按时间顺序依次进行深入研究,并挑选出五位最具代表性的戏剧家逐一展开讨论。该书以科学的研究方法、宽阔的研究视野、崭新的研究思路和深远的研究寓意,实现了戏剧研究领域的新突破,对国内戏剧研究未来的发展有较大的启迪作用。

Translatbn and Studies of Foreign Drama in New China, published in 2017 by Prof. He Huibin, provides a first macroscopic view of domestic studies in foreign drama. Composed of 12 chapters, it explores the domestic translation and studies of foreign drama over the past 62 years (1949 - 2010) with a quantitative method from the three perspectives: translation of foreign drama, translation of monographs about foreign drama, and domestic studies of foreign drama. It divides the 62 years into four stages and investigates each stage chronologically;it also presents five representa-tive playwrights and studies them one by one. It achieves a new breakthrough in drama studies and greatly enlightens future development of contemporary domestic drama studies through scientific re-search methods, broad research horizons, new research ideas and far-reaching implications.
