The renovation of historic blocks has always been a hot topic in society.This paper analyses the present situation and the demand of the revitalization of the Hutong space in historic blocks.Starting from the place memory of the Hutong in historic blocks,it extracts the carrier of the memory of the Hutong space.Finally,based on renovation and renovation scheme of the Hutong fork at the entrance of Baita Temple Pal,it discusses how to preserve the memory of the place and reshape the vitality of the space at the same time.
