On the World Significance of Chinese Path

改革开放40年来,我国在全球化进程中经历了从被动卷入到主动把握的转变,逐步从国际舞台的边缘地带走向舞台中心,逐渐从客体变为主体,中国道路的世界意义日益凸显。所谓中国道路的世界意义,是指中国对其他国家和地区带来的多领域、综合性的积极影响,具有特殊性与普遍性相统一、全面性与不平衡性并存、示范性与发展性兼具的辩证特征。正确认识中国道路的世界意义,需要积极构建自我认同与国际共通的衡量标准,坚持物质影响与价值效应并存、发展自我与讲好中国故事并重的思考维度,把握中国道路民族性与世界性的动态通融,秉持历史和开放的观察视野。

In the past 40 years of reform and opening-up,China has gradually moved from the marginal zone to the center of the world in the process of globalization,changing from being the object to the subject,from passive involvement to active participation,and the world significance of Chinese path has become increasingly prominent.The world significance of Chinese path refers to the multi-domain and comprehensive positive impacts that China brings to other countries and regions.It has the dialectic characteristics of the unity between uniqueness and universality,the coexistence of comprehensiveness and imbalance and the combination of modelling and development.To correctly understand the global significance of Chinese path,we need to actively construct the measurement standards of self-identity and international commonality,adhere to the thinking dimension of the coexistence of material influence and value effects,of putting emphasis on both developing self and telling the Chinese story well,grasp the dynamic harmony of the nationality and the globalization of Chinese path,and adopt the perspective of history and openness.
