唐代交通管理体系探析

Analysis on Traffic Management System in Tang Dynasty

唐代未设立统一的交通管理部门,其交通管理职能分隶于不同机构。主管交通的机构有尚书省兵部驾部司、工部水部司、刑部司门司、太仆寺和都水监。管理交通的关涉机构有户部度支司、负责皇家交通出行的殿中省尚辇尚乘二局、内侍省内仆局以及地方的县令和户曹司户参军、兵曹司兵参军、士曹司士参军。诸司职能有重合但各有侧重,共同管理唐代的交通运行。

There was no unified transport department during Tang Dynasty,and its traffic functions were divided into differ-ent agencies.There were five departments in charge of transportation under Shangshusheng(the Department of State Af-fairs),named as Jiabusi of Ministry of War,Shuibusi of Ministry of Works,Simensi of Ministry of Justice,Taipusi,Dush-uiJian.Moreover,there were five other departments,which have the function of traffic management.Varied agencies have overlapping functions but focus on specific duty respectively,which jointly manage the traffic operations in Tang Dynasty.
