The 40 years of the Reform and Opening Up Policy is the 40 years witnessing the significant transformation,huge development and achievement of Chinese fine arts.During the 40 years,artists use visual forms to record and express the magnificent changes the Reform and Opening Up brought to Chinese society and visual memory is therefore attained.The Reform and Opening Up also provided Chinese contemporary fine arts brand new context and space and consequently the general structure,concept,form and value of Chinese fine arts underwent dramatic transformation with the result that unique character and image of contemporary Chinese fine arts are established,rich experience and solid foundation are constructed for a further development of Chinese fine arts in the new era.
