钱还是面子?——粮农的职业农民意愿分析

Money or Face?The Analysis of Professional Farmers' Willingness to Devote to Farming

职业农民是推动农业现代化的主力军,研究粮农的职业农民意愿具有重要价值。而在中国,职业农民是一个既反映经济属性又反映社会属性的概念,无疑"钱"和"面子"是影响职业农民意愿的重要因素。基于江西省1 240份粮农数据,运用有序Probit模型分析"钱"和"面子"对粮农的职业农民意愿的影响。结果表明:"钱"和"面子"对粮农的职业农民意愿具有显著的影响,"面子"对粮农的职业农民意愿的影响显著性更强,粮农加入合作社有助于其职业农民意愿的提升。因此,为提高粮农的职业农民意愿,不仅需要保障粮农的种粮收入,而且更需要改善提高当前职业粮农的社会认可度,即让粮农"有面子"。

Professional farmers,being the main force to promote the modernization of agriculture,is a concept that reflects both economic and social attribute in China.There is no doubt that“money”and“face”are two important factors affecting the willingness of professional farmers.Based on 1 240 agricultural data of Jiangxi Province,the paper analyzed the influence of money and face on the willingness of professional farmers by using ordered probit model.The results show that“money”and“face”do have a significant influence,of which“face”has a more significant effect.Therefore,it is vital not only to improve their income from agricultural management,but also to raise their social status to make the agricultural operation profitable,to make agriculture a running industry,and to make farming a decent occupation.
