摘要
弱势专业通常是指那些招生规模不大、社会认可度不高、就业面比较窄、学生报考兴趣不大的冷门专业。弱势专业举步维艰的主因是特色缺失、与行业匹配度不高、学生就业口径窄、与对应行业发展步调不一致。因此,从网络时代"长尾理论"视角出发,高职弱势专业需要重新审视其价值。其突围之路,包括明定位显特色、借外力促发展、重内涵提质量、强技能树品牌等路径。
Weak major usually refers to those unpopular majors that are small in enrollment amount, low in social recognition, less in employment chance and for which students are not interested to apply. Causes that put weak majors under a difficult circumstance are mainly lack of characteristics, mismatch to the industry, less employment chance for students and out-sync to the development pace of related industries. Therefore, viewing from the point of Long Tail Theory in network times, weak majors of higher vocational education need to review their values and their paths to breakthrough include clear-cut orientation and protruding characteristics, development with help of external forces, attention to connotation and quality, and strengthening skills & building brand images etc.
