园林文化的本质是境界。以景观建造为核心的园林,"景观"已不再是一般意义上的景观,而是具有思想的艺术表现物。艺术塑造了园林的境界之美,这是园林具有无限生命力的重要基因。境界文化是园林中一切文化的核心和基础,是园林的灵魂。"境界"可分为"真境""妙境""仙境"3个层次。弘扬园林文化,即弘扬园林的境界文化,是弘扬中华优秀传统文化的组成部分,是文化自信的组成部分,是当代园林人的历史责任。

The essence of garden culture is realm.With landscape construction as the core of garden,"landscape"has not been a scenery in general sense,but an artistic expression with thoughts.Art shapes the realm's beauty of the garden which is the important gene making garden have boundless vitality.Realm culture is the core and foundation of every culture in garden and it is the spirit of garden.The"realm"can be divided into three levels:the"true realm","wonderful realm"and"wonderland".Carrying forward garden culture,that is,carrying forward the realm culture of garden is a part of carrying forward excellent traditional Chinese culture,a part of cultural confidence and the historical responsibility of contemporary garden people.
