基于典型事件模型的幽默现象分析——以《理智与情感》为例

Humor Based on Canonical Event Model:Taking Sense and Sensibility as an Example

运用认知语言学家Langacker提出的"典型事件模型"分析幽默现象,选取的语料主要来自英国著名小说家简·奥斯汀的经典作品《理智与情感》,分别考量了观察者在舞台表演区之内外、观察者将注意力移至场景及观察者虚化主要图形时的幽默成因。结果表明,典型事件模型有助于幽默的生成,对于幽默现象具有较强解释力,从而为从认知语言学视角进行幽默研究提供了新思路。

This paper attempts to interpret humor from the perspective of Canonical Event Model , which is proposed by Langacker. The source of corpora is sense and sensibility , which is a classic English novelist Jane Austen. This paper investigates the cause of humor from the following aspects : when the viewer is on and off the stage , when the viewer focuses his eyes on the setting , and when the viewer blurs out the setting. The resutt is that Canonical Event Model is powerful in generating therefore providing a novel perspective for humor study in cognitive area.
