潮州“老爷”视觉形象研究——以潮州青龙庙“安济圣王大老爷”为例

Research on the Visual Imagery of Chaozhou“Immortals”——Taking “Anji Saint Immortal” in Chaozhou Qinglong Temple as an Example

从视觉形象的角度出发,从本体塑像、周边形象及节庆形象三方面对潮州青龙庙"安济圣王大老爷"视觉形象进行调查发现,"安济圣王大老爷"本体造像通过世俗化与神化相交融的形式展现;周边形象以"龙"为主题,使其转化为特定的视觉符号,并借由潮州传统工艺美术技艺呈现;节庆形象将复杂多元的艺术形式整合为动态的整体的视觉形象,使观者从感觉体验上升至知觉体悟。这些形象巧思善工,渲染朝拜气氛,烘托神邸气势,别出心裁、繁复精巧的艺术效果具有强烈的潮州民间美术的特点。潮州民间艺术乃至民俗文化的传承,不但需要建立细致且完整的"观看平台",需要专业的"视觉解说员"引领大众进入传统的视觉世界;而且应该使传统文化与当代审美结合,创新文化创意产品,透过表面形象探索其深层意义,真正领会和沿承"工匠精神"。

From the perspective of visual imagery,this paper investigates the visual imagery of“Anji Saint Immortal”in Chaozhou Qinglong Temple from three aspects:noumenal imagery,peripheral imagery and festive imagery.Firstly,the noumenal imagery is created in the form of combination of secularization and deification.Secondly,the peripheral imagery takes the“dragon pattern”as a theme to transform it into specific visual symbols in the form of traditional arts and crafts of Chaozhou.Thirdly,the festive imagery integrates the complex and pluralistic forms into dynamic and holistic visual imagery,so that the viewer can rise from sensory experience to perceptual awareness.These images are cleverly designed and skillfully made,rendering the worship atmosphere and enhancing the temple’s momentum.Their unique,complex and exquisite artistic effects have strong character.istics of Chaozhou folk art.For the inheritance of Chaozhou folk art and even folk culture,we need to not only establish a meticulous and complete“viewing platform”,but also offer professional“visual commentators”to lead the public into the traditional visual world.It is also suggested to combine traditional culture with contemporary aesthetics,design culturally creative products and explore their deep meaning beyond the superficial imagery,and truly understand and inherit the“spirit of craftsmanship”.
