辽太宗之子罨撒葛考

A Study on Yansage,the Son of Emperor Taizong of the Liao Dynasty

辽太宗之子罨撒葛,其名可能具有"大帐皮室"的涵义,且其应为辽太宗第三子,是辽朝第一位拥有"皇太叔"称号的人。穆宗时,罨撒葛曾被其兄委以国政,并一度成为最具实力的皇位继承人,但终因其多次叛乱而被贬离了权力中心。景宗时,罨撒葛在死后被追封为"皇太叔",这主要是承认其储君身份以安抚其妻"皇太妃"胡辇。

The third son of Emperor Taizong of the Liao Dynasty,Yansage,is the first person to have the title of “Huangtaishu”(the uncle of the emperor)in the Liao Dynasty.In the reign of Muzong,Yansage is appointed by his brother to state affairs,and once becomes the most powerful heir to the throne.However,he is eventually removed from the power center due to his repeated rebellions.In the reign of Jingzong,Yansage is conferred a posthumous title of “Huangtaishu”,which is mainly to appease his wife Hu Nian by recognizing his identity of the prince.
