With the progress of science and technology, TBM tunneling construction has become a widely used method for efficient tunneling construction, and has a series of irreplaceable advantages, such as safety, high efficiency and less damage to the surface ecological environment.In addition, laser guidance system and PLC automatic deviation correction control technology make TBM more and more widely used in tunnel excavation. The application and development of tunneling machine and total station are discussed. The application of VMT guidance system in tunneling engineering is expounded.
