The cultivation of public character of public-funded normal students is the inherent requirement to change the realistic predicament of rural teachers in the rural public life, the motive force to ensure the professional development of rural teachers, and the need of the times for the opening of new rural culture and ideal life. At present, the cultivation of public character of public-funded normal university students can be structured from ensuring the public character of normal university, adjusting the curriculum structure, guiding normal students to recognize the value and rationality of local life and education.
