Advantages and Ways of College Students' Volunteer Participation in Precision Poverty Alleviation

志愿服务源于西方国家宗教性的慈善服务。20世纪80年代末,我国出现本土志愿者组织。作为青年志愿者组织"主力军"的大学生志愿者,与我国扶贫开发有着深厚的历史渊源。在习近平总书记提出的精准扶贫中,大学生志愿者具有智力优势、专业优势和数量优势,他们通过参与专项扶贫计划、实施扶贫助弱项目、开展扶贫社团活动和贫困状况调查等多种方式助力精准扶贫。

Volunteer service originates from religious charitable service in Western countries. At the end of 1980s, local volunteer organizations appeared in China. As the main force of youth volunteer organization, college student volunteers have a deep historical origin with poverty alleviation and development in China. Among the precise poverty alleviation proposed by General Secretary Xi Jinping, university student volunteers have intellectual, professional and quantitative advantages. They help precise poverty alleviation by participating in special poverty alleviation plans, implementing poverty alleviation projects, carrying out activities of poverty alleviation associations and poverty survey.
