胡朝梁是近现代文学史上独特的人物。他身处传统与现代的转型之际,交游涵括当时著名的新旧知识分子;他以诗为命,欲凭诗歌书写安身立命、赓续传统;他又精通外语,有合译或自译作品传世。同时,他还刊出过几种富含现代意识的小说。对他个人及其作品加以研究有助于深挖江西的文化资源,拓宽区域文化研究的视域,而经由对其行为、心迹和认知等层面的解读可以在进入近现代文学场的基础上明晰中国文学古今嬗变的履迹和进路。

Hu Chaoliang is a unique person in modern literary history:he was in the midst of a transformation of tradition and modernity,making friends with famous old and new intellectuals of the time;he took poetry as his life,and wanted to settle down and continue tradition by writing poetry;he had a good command of foreign languages,and had co-translated and self-translated works handed down;he published several novels rich in modern consciousness.Undoubtedly,researches on him and his works could be beneficial for deeply exploring JiangXi’s cultural resources,broadening rural cultural studies,and also clarifying the print&route for Chinese literature evolution on the basis of knowing literary field of modern time,through the analysis of his behaviour,mind and cognition.
