A construction scheme of a meteorological big data prototype system based on the ElasticSearch intelligent search engine was introduced. Through the implementation of the process of synchronizing structured meteorological data, typical application scenarios, and service system access, the prototype system for meteorological big data was compared with the CIMISS system. The results show that the big data prototype system has significant performance advantages in terms of structured data retrieval and statistical analysis.
