新时代,中华民族的伟大复兴遇到了关键的挑战——"中等收入陷阱"的挑战,究其原因则在于推动经济发展的客观物质力量——"资本"及其二重性在中国的特殊作用。在资本的动力作用下,中国取得了世界上速度最快的增长,迎来了中华民族伟大复兴的光明前景,但同时又在资本扩张悖论的困扰下,进行着"贫困的积累",致使矛盾凸显、隐患叠加,经济发展速度下行,中国存在着陷入"中等收入陷阱"的潜在威胁。这就要求新时代下的中国特色社会主义必须充分发挥中国共产党的领导优势、社会主义的制度优势、大国的经济优势和经济改革优势来克服资本扩张悖论,开拓经济发展空间,实现中华民族的伟大复兴。

In the new era, the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation has encountered a key challenge of the “middle-income trap”. It may be attributed to the special role of “capital” and its duality in China, which is the material force that can promote the economic development. As propelled by the power of capital, China has achieved the fastest growth rate in the world and ushered in the bright future of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. At the same time, under the influence of the capital expansion paradox, it is subject to the “accumulation of poverty”, accompanied with increasingly prominent contradictions, looming crises, and the declining speed of economic development. China faces the potential threat of falling into the “middle-income trap.” This requires that we must give full play to the advantages of the communist leadership, socialist institution, economic power, and economic reforms of China in the new era, in order to overcome the paradox, open up space for economic development, and realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
