摘要
为进一步探究如何有效提升高中生英语词汇学习效能,本研究以歧义容忍度为切入点,对高中生歧义容忍度、词汇学习策略、词汇知识水平进行相关性研究。通过测量学习者面对英语学习障碍时表现出来的容忍力,本研究旨在探索拥有何种歧义容忍度的学生更具有学习动机,更能积极运用词汇学习策略来促进英语词汇学习。结果显示,低年级(高一、高二)学生的歧义容忍度与词汇学习策略呈中等正相关,而词汇学习策略与词汇知识水平呈相对高度的正相关,从而表明歧义容忍度可以从一定程度上预测高中生的词汇学习效能。
To further explore how to facilitate senior high students’vocabulary learning effectiveness,the article takes a correlation research among tolerance of ambiguity,vocabulary learning strategy and vocabulary knowledge level focusing on the investigation of tolerance of ambiguity.It aims to test the tolerance when learners face the learning barriers by tolerance of ambiguity and explore which kind of tolerance may produce more learning motivation to stimulate English vocabulary learning with the full use of learning strategies.The result shows that,for lower-grade(Grade 1 and Grade 2)students,there is a moderately positive correlation between tolerance of ambiguity and vocabulary learning strategy,while there is a significant correlation between vocabulary learning strategy and vocabulary knowledge level.Thus,to some degree the tolerance of ambiguity can be used to predict the senior high students’vocabulary learning effectiveness.
