Increasing Sow's Yearly Productivity from the Point of Swine Breeding

摘要 母猪年生产力(PSY)是反映猪场养猪技术水平和生产效率的核心指标。文章综述了母猪PSY的基本组分性状及其遗传特性,并在此基础上从品种选择与杂交利用、性能测定与种猪选择、适时配种、猪群近交程度监测与控制、猪群适宜胎次结构等方面阐述了提高母猪PSY的繁育措施。 The productivity per sow per year(PSY)is the key index to measure the technical level and production efficiency in practice of a pig farm.The present paper reviews the basic component traits of PSY and their genetic characteristics.Based on this,a series of breeding measures for increasing PSY are summarized from the breeds selection and hybrids utilization,performance test and breeding pig selection,timely mating,monitoring and control of inbreeding degree of swine population,and the optimized parity structure of sows.
