The Aesthetics of Existence and the Sinicization of Marxist Aesthetics

福柯的生存美学不仅对于阐明人类的生活实践智慧和彻底重构西方哲学、美学思想具有重要意义,而且对于中国当代美学的发展具有深广的启发价值。中国当代美学发展的主流是马克思主义美学中国化。福柯的生存美学在话语实践、生命政治、"身体、性和爱情的美学"等方面直接启发中国当代美学,特别是新实践美学的发展。以马克思主义美学的实践观点、"自由自觉的生命观"、人类自身生产理论,借鉴和反思福柯的生存美学,似乎可以开出马克思主义美学中国化的新生面。

Foucault’s aesthetics of existence is not only significant for clarifying the wisdom of human living and for the thoroughly reconstruction of Western philosophy and aesthetics, but also inspirational for the development of contemporary Chinese aesthetics. The mainstream development of contemporary Chinese aesthetics is the sinicization of Marxist aesthetics. Foucault’s aesthetics of existencehas influenced contemporary Chinese aesthetics in terms of discursive practice (discursive production);bio-politics;“the aesthetics of body, sex and love,”particularly in the development of new practice aesthetics.The viewpoint of practice based on Marxist aesthetics;a“free and conscious view of life”;and human self-production theory. Therefore, learning and reflecting Foucault’s aesthetics of existence may open a new page for the sinicization of Marxist aesthetics.
