民国学界对于海外中国移民的研究——基于《东方杂志》刊载文章的考察

Research on Overseas Chinese Immigrants in the Academic Circles of the Republic of China——Based on Articles Published in The Eastern Miscellany

民国时期,国弱民穷,内忧外患,一批学者出于民族生存发展的需要,开始关注我国的海外移民问题。他们不仅讨论了国外关于中国移民的法律法规、华侨移民群体的历史与现状、移民保护和入籍以及移民的利弊探讨等领域。通过梳理当时最大的社会科学综合性刊物《东方杂志》前后45年所刊文献,可以发现讨论海外中国移民问题的文章共计64篇。对这些文章进行全面梳理,既有助于澄清20世纪上半叶海外中国移民的人口结构、职业与地理分布、籍贯来源、社会特征等方面的事实,也便于我们讨论与分析各国的移民政策与法规,对于新时代构建人类命运共同体背景下的移民治理和移民问题研究,也有着参考与借鉴的价值。

During the period of the Republic of China,on the condition of weak country,poor people,internal disturbance and foreign aggression,a group of scholars began to pay attention to the problem of overseas migration because of the need of national survival and development.They not only discussed foreign laws and regulations on Chinese immigration,the history and current situation of overseas Chinese immigrants,immigration protection and naturalization,as well as the pros and cons of immigration.By reviewing the articles published within 45 years in The Eastern Miscellany,the largest comprehensive journal of social sciences,we can find a total of 64 articles on overseas Chinese immigration.A comprehensive review of these articles will help to clarify the demographic structure,occupational and geographical distribution,native place origin and social characteristics of overseas Chinese immigrants in the first half of the 20th century.It will also facilitate us to discuss and analyze immigration policies and regulations of various countries and move towards a new era under the background of building a community of human destiny.It also has the value of reference for immigration governance and immigration issues.
