"既不A也不B"与"neither A nor B"是汉英常见的并列否定结构。从句法、语义与语用三个维度系统探讨了汉英这两个并列否定结构的异同点。研究发现:两者均表达选择的构式义;在语用上表达或贬或褒或中性的感情色彩;但两结构在句法分布和A、B的性质方面存在差异。

The Chinese structure“jibu A yebu B”and the English structure of“neither A nor B”are two common coordinate negation constructions.This paper systematically discusses both their similarities and differences through syntactic,semantic and pragmatic dimensions.The two constructions both have selective constructional meaning as well as rich emotional color.But they show certain differences in terms of their syntactic distribution and property of A and B.
