边界划分是路遥小说创作的一个重要主题。作者通过边界划分区分出人物的个体差异,以及个体在其成长过程中的自我分化,这些被划分的边界展现了人物性格的形成,使之与他人及自我记忆相区别。边界划分还可以为研究人物群体的心理动态提供客观依据,使叙事表现更为深刻、更有力量。这种从仪式化书写的一个横切面对作品进行剖析的角度,是展示作品深层含义的全新尝试,因而具有值得关注的重要意义。

Boundary division is an important theme in Yao Lu s novels. The author distinguishes the individual differences of the characters and the self-differentiation of an individual in his or her growth process through the boundary demarcation. These demarcated boundaries show the formation of the characters personality and distinguish them from others and self-memory. Border demarcation can also provide objective basis for the study of the psychological dynamics of character groups, making the narration more profound and powerful. It is a new attempt to show the deep meaning of the works from a sectional perspective of ritualized writing, which is of great significance.
