党的十八大以来,以习近平同志为核心的党中央对于为什么要推进文化建设,如何建设社会主义文化强国形成了习近平关于新时代我国文化建设工作的重要论述,内容主要包括:牢牢把握社会主义意识形态在文化领域的指导地位;重视思想道德建设,培育和践行社会主义核心价值观;传承和弘扬中华优秀传统文化,推进传统文化的创造性转化和创新性发展;坚持"二为"方向、尊重文艺规律、繁荣和发展社会主义文艺;大力发展繁荣社会主义文化事业和文化产业。这些重要论述成为我们推进社会主义文化大发展大繁荣的根本指导思想。

Since the 18^th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the Central Committee led by Xi Jinping has made a series of important statements on why we should enhance cultural construction and how to build a culturally strong socialist country.
