On the Historical Responsibility of Young College Students in the New Era

使命呼唤担当,担当引领未来,青年大学生明确和实现历史担当不仅是个人成长成才的前提条件,也是国家实现伟大复兴的必然要求。十九大作出了我国处于新时代的战略判断,认清新形势、解决新矛盾、实施新战略、践行新思想需要青年大学生在新的历史背景下有主动担当的意识,知晓为人民谋幸福、为民族谋复兴、建构命运共同体的历史担当的应有之义,敬爱人民、坚定目标、坚持学习、勇于创新、执著信念,用实际行动促进历史担当的实现。

The mission calls for responsibility and responsibility leads the future. Understanding and realizing the historical responsibility is not only a prerequisite for individual growth for every young college student, but also a necessary requirement of the country to achieve great rejuvenation. The Nineteenth National Congress of the Community Party of China made the strategic judgment that our country is in a new era. Recognizing the new situation, resolving the new contradiction, implementing the new strategy, and carrying out the new thought require that young college students take responsibility actively in the new historical background. Young college students should know how to seek happiness for the people, to rejuvenate the nation, to build up the historical responsibility of the community of destiny. They should also respect people, stick to their goals, persist in learning, bring forth new ideas, adhere to their firm beliefs to carry out their historical responsibilities with practical actions.
