Giant Esophageal Gastrointestinal Type Schwannoma: A Case Report and Literature Review

食道胃肠型神经鞘瘤是一种非常罕见的食道良性肿瘤。手术是食道神经鞘瘤最有效的治疗方法,手术切除程度是彻底根治的关键因素,治疗过程中应密切观察患者的临床体征。本文报道1例经病理检查确诊的食道胃肠型神经鞘瘤,并结合复习以往相关文献进行讨论总结,以提高临床医师对食道胃肠型神经鞘瘤的认识和鉴别能力,为食道胃肠型神经鞘瘤的诊断和治疗提供依据。

Esophageal gastrointestinal schwannoma is a very rare benign tumor of the esophagus. Surgery is the most effective way to treat schwannoma of the esophagus. The disease only in the case of tumor resection would not get possible relapse. Clinical signs of patients should be closely observed during the whole treatment. In this paper, we reported one case of esophageal gastrointestinal schwannoma, and made a detailed discussion after review of related previous literature. It is expected to make contribution to the clinicians in the understanding of esophageal gastrointestinal schwannoma and the ability to identify it, as well as to the diagnosis and treatment.
