一流本科教育应服务于学生的终身发展

First-class Undergraduate Education Being Supposed to Serve for Lifelong Development of Students

高等教育普及化进程带来了高等教育需要服务学生终身发展的新趋势,高水平大学要发展一流本科教育,必须着眼于学生更长远的发展需要,服务于学生的终身发展。各级各类高校都应当服务于学生的终身发展,这是共同的追求,但就我国高等教育发展现状来看,暂时无法要求所有高校都追求服务学生的终身发展,部属综合性大学由于其办学条件好、学科力量强、教学资源充分等优势,应更多地担负起培养学生终身发展需要的核心素养的责任。服务学生终身发展可以有多种教育模式,各高校应当根据自身的特点与优势,建构符合学校办学类型、层次和定位的教育模式。

The universalization of higher education has brought about a new trend that higher education should serve for students'lifelong development. To develop first-class undergraduate education,high-level universities must focus on students'long-term development needs and serve for students"lifelong development. Its a common pursuit that all kinds of colleges and universities should serve for students'lifelong development. However,in view of the current situation of higher education development in China,it is impossible to require all of them to serve for students "lifelong development temporarily. Due to the advantages of good conditions of school-running, strong disciplines and sufficient teaching resources, the comprehensive universities under the Ministry of Education should take more responsibility for training students' comprehensive quality and ability for lifelong development. To serve for the lifelong development of students,there can be a variety of educational models. According to their own characteristics and advantages, colleges and universities should construct educational models in accordance with the types, levels and orientations of schools.
