In engineering construction,groundwater is always one of the important factors affecting the whole project.Groundwater is not only an important part of people’s life,but also plays an indispensable role in the construction process.Therefore,in the process of construction and future use,it is necessary to always maintain effective control over groundwater to ensure the construction quality,progress and even the safety of human life.With the development of the hydrogeological conditions of geotechnical engineers,the harm of groundwater to engineering construction has been paid more and more attention.Therefore,this paper discusses in depth the influence of groundwater on the construction of the 24 th Winter Olympic Games venue in the Chongli area of Zhangjiakou.
