Objective To investigate the clinical effect of endoscopic holmium laser lithotripsy in the treatment of ureteral calculi. Methods 112 patients with ureteral calculi who need surgical treatment in our hospital from February 2015 to May 2016 were selected as the study subjects. The selected patients were divided into control group and observation group according to different surgical methods. The control group was treated with traditional open surgery and the observation group was treated with holmium laser lithotripsy. The operation time, hospitalization time and stone clearance rate of the two groups were compared and their safety was analyzed. Results ①The operation time and hospitalization time of the observation group were significantly shorter than those of the control group (P<0.05);the stone clearance rate of the observation group was 90.91% and that of the control group was 93.48%. There was no significant difference between the two groups;②The incidence of complications in the observation group was 7.58%, and that in the control group was 21.74%. Compared with the control group, the difference was significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Endovascular holmium laser lithotripsy is effective in the treatment of ureteral calculi. The stone clearance rate is the same as that of traditional open surgery, with fewer complications. It is worthy of clinical promotion.
