Confucianism and Community of Shared Future in East Asia

20世纪70、80年代,东亚经济腾飞,中国改革开放,东亚文化共同体意识觉醒,东亚中、日、韩三国学者共同主编《亚文——东亚文化与21世纪》杂志出版。《亚文》开中、日、韩三国共同主编一个杂志之新风,标志东亚走向21世纪共同东亚共同忧患、主体、危机、反省意识的觉醒,为人类共同体利益作贡献的共同理念的加强。东亚中、日、韩及越南之所以为共同体,体现为共同理念,儒学共鸣;共同文字,汉字共享;共同制度,郡县共建;共聚民心,同舟共济;共生共存,命运共同。在当今全球化的信息智能时代,世界各国、各民族交感联通,你中有我,我中有你,犹如"太极图",阴中有阳,阳中有阴,阴阳中又有阴阳,不分不离,一损俱损,一荣俱荣,构成人类命运共同体。

In the 70s and 80s of the 20th century,East Asia witnessed an explosion in economy,Chinese commencement of the Reform and Opening-up Policy,East Asian evocation of cultural community awareness and publication of the journal, East Asian Culture and the 21th Century co-edited by scholars from China,Japan and Korea.This is the first time that the three countries jointly managing a journal,which symbolized the birth of a new East Asia with shared challenges in the 21th century,the awakening awareness of crises,subjectivity and self-examination as well as the reinforcement of widespread willingness to make contributions in building a Community of Shared Future for Mankind.Reasons are evident for China,Japan,Korea and Vietnam to form the community and are represented in the following aspects: shared value of Confucianism;shared writing system of Chinese characters;shared institution of both prefectures and counties;shared popular sentiment of solidarity;shared coexistence with common destiny.In this era of globalization with intelligent information,people from different countries and nations around the world connect and empathize with each other as bosom friends without separation like“Taiji Diagram”,with yin and yang intermingling.The diagram bears a resemblance to the community of the shared future of mankind as elements in both are entwined,sharing weal and woe.
