Basic Thoughts of Marxism with Respect to the National Self-Determination

民族自决权问题是一个复杂而敏感的话题,然而人们对民族自决权的理解存在许多分歧。通过对民族自决权含义、马克思主义关于民族自决权的基本思想以及在当代发展的探讨,认为民族自决权被提出后,尽管在不同环境下所表现的形式、内容有所不一,但它基本没有背离包括分离权在内的自主解决内部事务、自己决定自己命运的权利之含义。

Issues of national self-determination are complex and sensitive,however,there are many differences in people’s understanding of national self-determination.Through exploring the meaning of national self-determination,the basic ideas of Marxism on national self-determination and its contemporary development,the author finds that while the forms and contents of national self-determination have been expressed differently in different circumstances since its proposal,they never diverge from the basic meaning - the right to resolution of internal affairs and determination of its own destiny which includes the choice of separation.
